Counseling

Compassionate Heartspace offers holistic, person-centered counseling for individuals, couples, and families. With compassionate presence – and mindful of your strengths and history – Mary will work with you to nourish insights, strategies, and resources to support you in overcoming difficulty and meeting life whole-heartedly. She brings a holistic, person-centered, attachment- and mindfulness- based approach to working with children, teens, and adults experiencing a wide range of life challenges.

Trauma Treatment

Some life experiences can profoundly shake our sense of safety and undermine our sense of self. Such experiences may be clearly life threatening to ourselves or those close to us. Or they may be more subtle, overlooked by others but felt sharply and deeply by ourselves. They may be one-time events or could occur over years. What matters is that these experiences of the past continue to cause us suffering in the present. Compassionate Heartspace offers evidence based interventions such as EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, EFT (tapping) and trauma informed mindfulness practices to support you in processing and integrating these experiences and transforming beliefs to be more adaptive, realistic, and self-compassionate.

Support for Neurodiverse
